 Shaun M. Somers

shaunrkl 003I used to be stuck in the cycle of credit card debt, and living my financial life paycheque to paycheque.  Since finding and applying the concepts that we teach at RKL Financial, I have found my life to be changed for the better.  Being out of debt, with cash in the bank for emergencies, has made a world of difference in my stress levels and my relationship with my wife.  The fights about money that used to be regular are now replaced by teamwork and collaboration as we work on our finances together.  Freedom from debt really has given me a freedom for life – freedom to live life with much less worry and uncertainty.

Interests: I enjoy reading about economics, politics and personal finance.  I like playing and watching football most of all, but I’ll watch any sport if it’s the playoffs.  Most of all I like hanging out with my family.  I do also try to make time for regular Dave Ramsey podcast listening.
